Community Guidelines

Adventure School works because of the families and hosts who show up with kindness, curiosity, and care. These guidelines keep our community safe and encouraging for everyone.

Kindness first

Lead every interaction with warmth. Homeschool journeys look different for every family — celebrate that.

Safe for families

Keep conversations and content family-friendly. No profanity, explicit content, or anything you wouldn't want your own child to see.

Honest and helpful

Write listings and reviews from real experience. Honesty helps every family choose the right adventure.

Respectful voices

Different educational philosophies are welcome here. Disagree gently; never attack the person.

Be kind and respectful

Every family on Adventure School is doing their best for their kids. Assume good intent, ask questions before judging, and remember there's a real parent on the other side of every message.

Keep it family-friendly

Adventure School is built around children's learning. Keep profiles, photos, listings, reviews, and messages appropriate for all ages. Don't share images of other people's children without permission.

Be honest in listings and reviews

  • Hosts: describe your program accurately — ages, pacing, credentials, pricing, and what to expect.
  • Families: review based on personal experience. Be specific, fair, and constructive.
  • Don't post fake reviews, paid reviews, or reviews of programs you didn't actually attend.

No harassment, hate, or spam

  • No bullying, harassment, threats, or personal attacks.
  • No hate speech or discrimination of any kind.
  • No spam, scams, unsolicited promotion, or off-platform solicitations.
  • No impersonating other families, hosts, or Adventure School staff.

Keep kids safe

Anything that puts a child at risk — sharing identifying information, inappropriate contact, or unsafe program practices — will result in immediate removal. If you ever see something concerning, please report it so we can act quickly.

Reporting and consequences

If a listing, review, or message breaks these guidelines, email safety@adventureschool.app. Depending on what happened, we may edit, hide, or remove content, and warn, suspend, or remove accounts. Serious safety concerns may also be reported to local authorities.
